Alpine Fire Engineers smashes charity fundraising target
The endurance event saw 118 participants from sister companies Alpine Fire and DAS Fire collectively walk 2,000 km in just 14 hours across the Peak District’s stunning landscapes.
All the money raised has been donated equally between Manchester charity, Two Brews, which delivers hot meals, essential supplies and human connection to rough sleepers, and Reading-based Launchpad, which provides support to prevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless.
Alpine Group CEO, Claire Owens, said:
“Initiatives like the Challenge demonstrate that our culture extends beyond office walls. It proved that when colleagues come together for a common cause, extraordinary things can be achieved.”
Peter Barkley, partner at WestBridge, added:
“Our commitment to sustainable investment and ESG is reflected in our support for initiatives like this.
“Bringing Alpine and DAS together to form Alpine Group wasn’t simply about corporate structure but about developing collaboration, openness, and team spirit. I’m a firm supporter of this becoming a regular event.”
Congratulations to everyone who took part, donated and supported.
