Following written submissions, senior management from both companies were interviewed by a panel of judges who, alongside financial performance, took into account competitiveness, innovation, ESG, and the challenges overcome.
For the first time, this year’s event also acknowledged the investors behind the winning companies.
Valerie Kendall received the awards from Howard Dawber, London Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, on behalf of both teams who were unable to attend due to prior commitments, before joining a panel discussion about how investment had aided growth at Eque2 and Techex.
Later in the afternoon, Rebecca Sinclair joined a session entitled, ‘Digital Transformation’, discussing how technology can drive productivity, growth, and value creation for portfolio companies. During the panel, Rebecca showcased the progress being made in some of our portfolio companies.
The Summit was yet another excellent event organised by the BVCA.
