Westbridge shortlisted for three Rainmakers awards
Working alongside the LA28 brand team, Koto helped develop the event’s official ‘Look of the Games’ - a vibrant, nature-inspired visual identity titled LA in Full Bloom.
Central to the concept is the idea of a ‘superbloom’: an evolving visual system featuring an infinite loop of 13 unique floral patterns, or ‘blooms’, representing the diversity of Los Angeles’ communities, culture and natural landscape.
Koto also contributed to the creation of four bespoke typefaces inspired by the hand-painted signage of Los Angeles strip malls and storefronts, giving the Games a distinctly local character. The agency further introduced a dynamic colour palette designed to bring energy and flexibility across all touchpoints.
The visual identity will appear across all Games-related marketing and merchandise, as well as throughout venues, digital platforms and broadcast channels.
To ensure consistency across every application of the brand, Koto has also developed a comprehensive visual system for all Games stakeholders to follow.
