Tell us a little about Causeway Securities
Causeway Securities is a leading international distributor of structured products. The Company acts as an intermediary between blue-chip investment banks and its 400+ strong client base of wealth managers, IFAs, insurance companies and credit unions.
It is headquartered in Belfast and has opened offices in both New York and London since WestBridge’s investment.
When did WestBridge invest?
WestBridge invested in Causeway from WestBridge Fund III in October 2024. This was a partnership deal with Causeway’s CEO, Conor O’Donnell, backing the management team’s plan to accelerate international growth initiatives.
What was it about the company that appealed to you?
Causeway is exactly the sort of business WestBridge is keen to back. It operates in a niche and growing market and had already demonstrated strong organic growth and high client retention through exceptional service.
The Company has a highly experienced and motivated management team, who are eager to execute geographic expansion through both organic and highly selective acquisitive growth initiatives.
Additionally, Causeway’s sophisticated software platform provides a secure hub for advisers to monitor the performance of their clients’ structure investments, while the sales and pricing teams work consistently to provide a leading service to both issuer banks and advisory clients.
How is WestBridge adding value?
WestBridge is partnering with the Causeway team to execute core strategic growth initiatives, including geographical expansion – there are several new offices set to open in H2 2026 so watch this space! The NYC office opened in Q4 2024 and the London office opened in Q1 2026 – there are three near-term office launches in the pipeline for 2026, which are all supported by the WestBridge Value Creation Fund.
We also supported management in the acquisition of Levendi Investment Management. The transaction significantly expands Causeway’s asset management division and ensures both companies continue delivering value, innovation and outstanding investment solutions to clients globally. Levendi’s fund solution is highly complementary to Causeway’s legacy in structured products on an individual basis, and we are seeing impressive demand for the fund from Causeway’s clients.
And what of the future?
The future for Causeway is incredibly exciting, the next year will see Causeway’s new office openings ramp up and their presence in each of these regions accelerate. More to come as office launches are announced!
