Year ends well for Smart CT

Year ends well for Smart CT

Following a strong year that delivered 20% revenue and EBITDA growth, we are delighted that portfolio company Smart CT has been named a finalist in the Thames Valley Tech & Innovation Awards.

Organised by The Business Magazine in conjunction with Insider, the awards celebrate the innovators, disruptors and digital visionaries shaping the future of one of the UK's most dynamic technology ecosystems.

Smart CT has been shortlisted in the highly competitive Tech for Good category, recognising organisations that use technology to deliver measurable social, environmental or ethical impact.

Applicants were assessed on their ability to demonstrate clear purpose, tangible outcomes, responsible leadership and scalable solutions that create meaningful benefits beyond commercial success – qualities that we believe Smart CT consistently embodies.

Some of the company’s highlights for the qualifying period include: being rated ESG Excellent by an independent auditor; reducing its carbon footprint by 25%; collaborating with Henley Business School to host three postgraduate Masters students for summer internships; hosting nine work experience pupils from local schools; introducing paid charity days for all employees to volunteer or raise funds; diverting 99.5% of  Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment from landfill and adopting hybrid vehicles for engineers on the road; and increasing ex-military recruits after joining the Armed Forces Covenant.

We wish the team every success ahead of the awards ceremony at the Hilton Reading next month.
